Doggy Day Care

Dogs who come to Mountain Paws for daycare enjoy an experience of safe, secure fun. Pets are separated by weight, with all pets under 35 pounds being kept together, with the larger breeds in a completely separate area. This ensures that smaller dogs are not overwhelmed or nervous about the bigger dogs in care.
Our facility for small dogs includes large spacious kennel areas for sleeping and resting, an artificial grass outdoor playground, featuring Rymar Tough Grass, specifically designed for kennels. It looks and feels like regular grass, and pets seem to really enjoy playing and lying on it. Caregivers in the small dog room are in attendance throughout the day, providing supervision and safety.
Larger dogs tend to want to run and play in a larger yard, Mountain Paws offers a large, ¾ acre play yard with natural ground for surfaces. There is a small stand of young trees that pets enjoy running through and resting in the shade. For dogs that are not able to enjoy large group play, Mountain Paws provides smaller outdoor areas where groups of 2-5 dogs can play together.
In those rare cases where we are asked to care for an aggressive, fearful, or otherwise unsuitable dog for playing with others, Mountain Paws offers a segregated run and kennel area. This ensures that the pet is cared for and given the opportunity to exercise in a safe and controlled manner.

Our Happy Customers
Absolutely wonderful experience. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. Truly above and beyond. Our dog, Niko, was having a hard time settling in, and they kindly took him up to the penthouse and spent time helping him relax. That level of care meant everything to us.
Hands down one of the most pet-friendly and thoughtful kennels in BC. You can genuinely feel how much they care about four-legged family members. We’ll definitely be back!
